We stayed in the Samuel Chase Room, and it was lovely, with a comfortable bed, roomy private bathroom, and a deck overlooking the gardens. Central air and a ceiling fan kept the temperature comfortable, which mattered a lot during the heat index in the 100s. Ann and Tom were gracious, accommodating hosts. We needed flowers for a special occasion that evening, and Ann suggested just the right place to buy a bouquet. She also provided a vase and kept the flowers in the guest library refrigerator. Ann’s homemade breakfast was outstanding. She even changed the menu at the last minute to suit my husband’s food preferences, which was so thoughtful. The Georgian House Bed & Breakfast is in a great spot, just a block from downtown, so it’s easy to explore on foot. Parking is in a nearby garage, and the owners give you a voucher to reduce the fee. You can pull up outside the house to load and unload your bags. It was a wonderful overnight stay for us. The 260-year-old home has an amazing history, having been used by three of Maryland’s signers of the Declaration of Independence. We highly recommend it for a visit to Annapolis.

Annapolis is such a fun place to explore on foot, and the B&B puts you right by the town’s best attractions. I’ve stayed at the house many times and love the hospitality. I always look forward to a good night’s sleep in the comfortable bed, then delicious coffee and breakfast in the morning.

The owners are the nicest people, and the location is superb. Both the rooms and grounds have a charming, historic feel. We’ll certainly return, and I’d recommend it to anyone looking for a great Annapolis B&B.

Ann and Tom are wonderful hosts, and Ann made a delicious breakfast. My wife even got her pancake recipe. The location is great, with everything within walking distance. We’d love to stay again.
