A lovely stop in SoCO. The 1911 has a quiet feel despite being right across from restaurants and groceries, and there’s plenty of parking. Tegan and Paul were warm and easygoing hosts. The rooms have a rustic look but are comfortable and well equipped, and the patio is a nice spot for coffee or a drink.

We ended up staying in for a whole day because the room was so inviting, and spent it soaking up the sun on the rooftop deck. The beds were really comfortable, the room was spacious, and the hall decor was fun to browse. It was mostly quiet, though traffic could be heard. We also ate at the downstairs restaurant when we arrived, and they brought our delicious burger and fries up to the room. We loved this hotel and will be back.

Check-in takes a phone call, but the owner was close by and arrived within minutes. The historic building sits right on the main street, across from two good restaurants. The owner and staff were friendly and helpful, and the bathroom upgrades and free coffee were nice touches. We had a pleasant stay, with just a little road noise.

I came to ride the train to Chama and had a wonderful stay at the Steam Train Hotel. The whirlpool tub in room two was fantastic, and everyone was kind and accommodating. Thanks, I’ll be back!

The rooms are older, but spotless, and the place feels cozy and quiet in a central spot. The price was great, too. Staff were so kind and attentive, helped with anything we asked, and had taken care of the little details. There was food in the fridge for breakfast. Enjoy your stay!
