We loved being able to explore on our own. You sign up for an audio tour, then go at your own pace, and even though someone is on site, it really feels like you have the place to yourselves. The team had spots to warm up and coffee to help yourself to, which was thoughtful since we visited between the snow and the fallen leaves and it was pretty chilly. It's a beautiful, unusual place, and the tour lived up to what I expected. I imagine every season looks stunning. The drive up is a little rustic, probably part of being somewhere so remote. This review is for a tour only.

The access road is a bumpy 1.5-mile dirt road, so keep that in mind. At the venue, there are lovely mountain views and cows to watch, plus an indoor ceremony option if needed and a nice place to eat. Food is catered in. There's also a house and cabin for family to rent, with nearby glamping.

The facility is really well kept, and the panoramic views are stunning. Such a beautiful place for a wedding, I can't recommend it more if you're hoping to make lasting memories.

Those black mayflies were the real downside of our May rental. They showed up around 11 a.m. and were gone by dusk, about 7:30 p.m., but they bite and got stuck in our hair. Bug spray and defogger did nothing. We lit all seven or so fire pits, and our guests still ended up driven inside. Keep them in mind when choosing a date. The main house itself was well equipped: a bathroom in every bedroom, two refrigerators, a dishwasher, two washer-dryer sets, and a kitchen with pans, dishes, blenders, utensils, toaster ovens and more. There was also an indoor ping pong table and an outdoor hot tub.
