Comfort Suites Appleton Airport

I needed a big hot tub and pool for the kids, and this place turned out to be spectacular. The pool area is huge, with lots of room to swim, a slide, and a hot tub for adults. There’s also a pool table, a mini arcade, and ping pong. Our room was clean and tidy too. The kind woman at the front desk on 2/7/26, who wore glasses, and Mary at Duffy's Pub were both so kind. I didn’t catch the front desk woman’s name. She let my daughter play the piano in the lobby and even offered her a tip and a tip jar. That really encouraged her to play more and maybe perform at shows someday. Thank you for inspiring her and giving us a great experience!

The hotel is dated, but it’s managed well. I liked how clean the room was, the nice reception area, and the friendly staff, especially Ashley at the bar. She’s awesome. The pool area is pretty big and good for kids. I hadn’t picked the hotel myself, and the reviews weren’t great, so I was impressed when I arrived. The lobby and front desk looked good and the stay was better than I expected.

I spent three weeks here for training and found it nicer than other hotels I’ve stayed at. The staff were friendly and pleasant. The drive in is a little unusual since the hotel sits quite far back from the road, behind other businesses.

We used to love this hotel and stayed every spring, booking two adjoining rooms by the pool. When we called this year, they said they couldn’t guarantee either poolside or connecting rooms until check-in day, and we’d only get them if they were available. If we’re paying more for a poolside room and booking ahead, shouldn’t that secure it? They also said they could check whether rooms next to each other were possible, but couldn’t see room locations unless we first booked and paid for one room, then tried to reserve a nearby one separately. None of that makes sense. I wish it were a mistake, because we really did love this hotel, but since we can’t reserve, pay for, and actually get adjoining poolside rooms anymore, we’re staying somewhere else.
