I booked this motel a year ahead, but they canceled my reservation because they wanted to charge their higher rates for the week I’d reserved. When I called, the woman told me they had updated prices for that week and my booking wasn’t at the new price. Canceling without telling me is really bad business. With all the other terrible reviews, I’d avoid them. They don’t stick to their advertised prices and may cancel your booking without notice.

My husband had booked four nights for a work trip but checked out after just one. He’d stayed in plenty of low cost motels for work, and this was by far the worst. The place was dirty and smelled of pot throughout. The bathtub had nasty sticker residue and dirt, the bedding had cigarette burn holes and a stain he couldn’t identify, the toilet ran all night, people argued in the hall, and the air conditioning didn’t work well. After a long drive he was too tired and afraid to look under the bedding, so he slept in his clothes on top of it. When he woke up, there were mouse droppings on his arm. The owners need to clean it up and update the place. We’d give it zero stars, except they did try to get him to stay longer and refunded the remaining three days despite a no refunds sign.

I checked in, but after about 20 minutes in the room I left. There was a hole in a very conspicuous spot facing the beds. It was too far out of reach for me to examine, and it looked like a peephole. I’m not claiming that’s what it was, but it made me uncomfortable enough to leave immediately. I wasted my money. The other negative reviews have covered the rest. I don’t mean to insult the motel, just give feedback they might find useful. Hopefully they patch the holes in the walls, which apparently are in several rooms, and improve their reviews. The gentleman at the front desk was kind and helpful when I checked in.

The room itself was clean, and the TV worked, but the shower wasn’t great. Since we arrived late, we noticed right away that the big window had been left wide open with no screen, so bugs had gotten in. A guy was hanging around the little lobby all night and was still there in the morning. Around 1 a.m., there was some kind of medical emergency in the room across from us, though I don’t know what happened. The vending machines were empty, with construction stuff scattered around them even though we didn’t see any work going on. We stayed one night. It was okay, but I wouldn’t return. Not the worst place, though you’re probably better off elsewhere.
