I was in town dealing with my mother’s passing, and this hotel was a welcome base for about eight nights. My room was spotless, and it was easy to get whatever I needed. Every staff member I saw greeted me with a smile. They were always cleaning, so the lobby sparkled and smelled great. The bartenders were wonderful people, and I enjoyed talking with them. Thanks to everyone for making it a great stay.

My engagement ring and both anniversary bands, one for our 5-year anniversary and one for our 25-year, were stolen from my room. I accept that I left them behind. I only wanted the hotel to cooperate and confirm that they had spoken with the housekeeper, but they wouldn’t. They also refused to speak with the assigned investigator. Instead, I got polished but empty replies along the lines of, “Sorry, that’s not our fault.” After 10 years with Marriot Ambassador Elite status, they couldn’t even try to help me find my rings. I’m disgusted.

The room smelled unpleasant as soon as we walked in, and it was disgusting for the price of a one-night stay. There was hair everywhere, mold in both the shower and fridge, and the floors were filthy. The floorboards popped out and were literally crunchy. The air conditioner was unbelievably loud, the bathroom door was damaged and gross, and there seemed to be boogers on the wall. From the outside and in the lobby, the hotel looked nice, but the room was awful. We also got no refund even though the hotel didn’t have the amenities listed on booking sites. I don’t recommend staying here.

The breakfast was limited, and the food didn’t seem fresh. The hotel also feels dated, with repairs showing. In our shower, old caulk had spilled and never been cleaned up.

The location is great, and breakfast was good. The rooms were clean and nice, but the bathroom door opens and closes in a really awkward way that makes it dysfunctional.
