Draft Horse Inn and Suites

The room was clean enough, but charging $50 each night for my dog felt like being robbed. That’s far above what most motels and hotels charge. I’d planned on two nights, but when he told me it was $50 per night, I said one night of exploitation was enough. The desk man only shrugged and didn’t care what I thought. He seemed just as indifferent when I finally reached him the next morning, after finding no one at the front desk or anywhere on the property. It’s the only place in town, but I won’t stay here again. Gouging guests on a pet fee and showing no care for customers isn’t acceptable. Later for this place!

There’s a lovely outdoor sitting area with a TV and fireplace, and the continental breakfast is better than most. The rooms are super clean and the beds are so comfortable. I’d definitely recommend staying here.

We were in town for a nearby family reunion and stayed two nights. The rooms were spacious and clean, and the hotel is in very good condition. Everyone on staff we dealt with was friendly and helpful. We didn’t use the covered front patio, but it looked nice with its fireplace. Breakfast was good, too. I’d definitely recommend the place and would stay again.

I’ve had a rough patch recently and was staying with a friend who’s here. He asked the owner if I could stay in his room while he was away at his other house, and she had no problem with it. She’s been more than courteous, and the owners are really nice. The food and service are great, the rooms are great, and the mattresses are the best I’ve ever slept on. I recommend this place to everyone if you come to wisconsin.
