I won't be back. The front desk gave us wrong information about the amenities, and anything listed as closing at 10 or 10:30 seemed to shut earlier, so get there ahead of time. The parking gate was broken on Friday and wouldn't print a ticket. Housekeeping was rude, too. We had the Do Not Disturb sign up, but they knocked and came in yesterday and today, nowhere near checkout time. And the elevator was broken, so getting up and down took forever all weekend. For this price, it's not worth it.

The neighborhood was nice, parking was easy, and breakfast was a standard American spread. I appreciated the made-to-order omelette, and the server was on point. The hotel is fairly spacious for Southern California, and they texted during the stay to check whether we needed anything. In conversation, they sounded like they cared. But when I asked them to set aside something that hadn't been delivered to our room the night before, I still waited another 10 minutes at pickup while they got it from housekeeping. They don't keep good records of guest requests. The elevator was slow, the bed wasn't firm enough, and the air vents seemed to blow dusty air. We were too tired to do anything about that. The water pressure was good, though the old jet spray had calcium residue and squeaked loudly for about 10 seconds. I chose this location because it had recently been remodeled. I don't drink, so I can't comment on the free welcome drink. I hope Embassy Suites cleans the air vents and replaces the shower head. I understand the bed isn't their signature feature. It was a decent three-day stay, with free breakfast.

The complimentary breakfast made mornings easy, and our room had plenty of space for our small family. With two young kids, having a separate bedroom and living room gave us much more room to relax. Service was five-star from start to finish. The location was handy for everything we wanted to see, too. We absolutely loved staying at Embassy Suites in Arcadia, and it'll be our go-to whenever we're back in the area. We loved it and will definitely return.

The breakfast was the one bright spot. It was very good, and the cooks did a great job. The bus boys kept the tables cleared. Everything else felt disappointing and run down. The lobby sofas were filthy, the entry sign looked homemade, the elevators were dirty and made a worrying squeak, and the paint was chipped all over. The place may have been nice once, but whoever runs it isn't doing the job. The pictures make it look better than it is. We stayed four days and three nights, checking in around 1 a.m. We were the only ones in the lobby, yet they said they couldn't find a luggage cart. That was hard to understand. The tub looked like it hadn't been scrubbed in a month, so I was glad I had pool shoes. Towels were scattered around the gym and pool, which also looked messy and dirty. The parking gate gave us trouble two nights in a row. Our key card wouldn't lift the arm, and it was raining. They charge for parking, but when we asked to have the fee reimbursed, they comped only one night.
