For what we paid, the fireplace policy was the biggest reason we won’t return. We booked two nights and used the one presto log they allow on the first evening. When I texted the staff asking for another for night two, they said one log per reservation. It costs under $9 retail. I bought one at the market in Manazanita for $8.95, and I’d guess wholesale is under $4. We spent north of $600 for the stay, come on Adrift, you can do much better. There were other issues, too. Most rooms felt rustic and needed work inside and out, and the old heating system needs an update. The bathroom was the nicest part, with a new shower. The patio door curtain was shabby and should be thrown out. Complimentary coffee was nine months old, so thankfully we’d brought our own coffee and a pot to make it in.

We had a small problem with our room, and management sorted it out promptly. The location is beautiful and close to the beach. We’ll definitely stay here again.

From the driveway and parking spot, we already felt at home. Our room was clean and cute, and the bed was really, really comfortable. The walking path leads down to what feels like a private beach. Heather and Chris did so much to make the stay enjoyable. This was our first trip to the Pacific Northwest, for our honeymoon, and we’ll definitely be back.

We loved five nights in quiet Arch Cape. Room 3 was sparkling clean, the beds were very comfortable, and we made cozy fires every evening. We grilled fresh seafood on the deck overlooking the ocean, walked to the beach every day, and took the beach bikes out. It was a great base for hiking, tide pooling, and those beautiful beach walks. Chris and Heather checked in daily to see if we needed firewood, coffee, fresh towels, or anything else, and couldn’t have been more accommodating. My husband and I have lived abroad and travel a lot, and their gracious hospitality made this a wonderfully relaxing vacation. Can’t wait to return!

We got in some much-needed time away, our first trip in two years. The room was clean and super cozy, and we spent our days hiking, reading on the beach, riding the beach bikes, and taking sunset walks. Arch Cape is quiet and feels secluded, while Cannon Beach and Manzanita are both close by. Another lovely week at our favorite inn and beach. Perfect.
