I just noticed I never wrote about my stay last summer. This is such a quaint, lovely inn, with a very kind and hospitable owner. The food was amazing, both in flavor and presentation. We liked walking along the beach and sitting by the fire pit at sunset. You’ll need a card if you want to explore in town. I highly recommend ocean point inn and hope to return soon.
We practically had Ocean Point Inn & Spa to ourselves for our 10th anniversary in early October. Bruce gave us an excellent contactless tour and check-in, and the private beach setting was perfect for combing the shore and having a campfire at night. Breakfast was superb, both the menu and the preparation, and everything was high quality and delicious. Bruce even helped coordinate anniversary flowers and candy sent by our families, which was so thoughtful. Don’t wait, book a room and enjoy the Oregon Coast.
The breakfasts Bruce and Ron made every morning were among our favorite meals of the trip, even after eating around Portland and the Cannon Beach area. They’re terrific hosts, kind, funny, informative, and helpful when you need them, while giving you space when you want privacy. The rooms and the whole atmosphere are hard to match: clean, comfortable, luxurious without feeling precious. We loved the Scandinavian feel of the design and ascetic. The views are unbelievable, and even though the inn is on a public beach, it still feels secluded. We loved everything about Ocean Point Inn. I miss Bruce and Ron more than some of my own relatives.
I’d never stayed at a B&B before, and this was a great first one. The beach is just a couple of steps away, and the tiled rain shower was outstanding. Rooms feel modern and cozy, and the daily breakfast was scrumptious. We also ordered gourmet pizzas to the room or outdoor patio overlooking the beach, and they were better than eating out. Service was exceptional, and the whole stay went well beyond what I expected. Bruce and Ron have done a great job with OPI. I can’t wait to come back and stay more than three nights next time.
We picked Ocean Point Inn for a quiet, relaxing 25th anniversary, and it was exactly what we wanted. The ocean is only steps from the front door, and with the sliding door open we could hear the waves from our room. The hosts had thought of everything for a restful vacation. We loved the breakfasts delivered right to our door every morning. One night we decided to stay in, and being able to order a pizza from the inn was great. We’ll definitely be back.
