Hotel Ardmore (ex. Econo Lodge Ardmore / Rodeway Inn)

The location right off the highway was handy, with plenty of restaurants nearby, and the room was clean, comfortable, and quiet. Staff were helpful and friendly the whole time. They did a lot to help with everything I needed over four days. It was a great value for the price, and I'd stay at the Econo Lodge in Ardmore again when passing through.

The area was very quiet and the location was great. The rooms have been remodeled and are decent enough for a budget stay, with the basics covered, but the details need attention. The room toilet kept running unless I jiggled the handle, and the lobby bathroom toilet had the same problem, with no paper towels. Our keycards failed three separate times. Breakfast was all carbs, apples, bread, bagels, waffles, juice, and cereal, with no protein. Although the doors had no-smoking stickers, someone across the hall smoked so heavily after we came back from dinner the first night that the hallway and stairs were nearly impossible to breathe in. We booked online because a pool was listed, but the outdoor pool and hot tub have been filled in, despite still appearing in the photos.

This Econo Lodge is a comfortable, affordable choice in Ardmore, though it's not a luxury hotel. The place was calm at night, and the front desk staff were friendly and answered my questions easily. My room was tidy and smelled fresh, and the AC worked well, which mattered during my stay. It was a simple stay without frills, but it covered what I needed. I'd recommend it if you're after a clean place on a budget.

There's plenty of parking, including for buses and semi trucks. I've never stayed at a nicer Econo Lodge; I usually avoid them, but this one is well above the average. The deal for the price is hard to beat, and I'd recommend it to anyone.
