Clean rooms and a quiet stay on our most recent visit. The woman who checked us in was so friendly and had us settled within minutes. She also cleaned the rooms, checked whether we needed anything, and made sure our room was serviced when we asked. She even remembered us and our room from when she first checked us in six months earlier. We wondered if she was the only person working there, since we only saw her and her husband, who also worked there. Our first stay had been very different: doors slammed day and night, non-guests came and went, and the front desk staff were rude and unprofessional, loudly using foul language while several kids ran around unsupervised. We later learned those people were the live-in housekeepers. Giving the place one more try was the right choice. That lady has natural southern hospitality. Good job to whoever replaced the old staff with the new staff. Keep it up, Super 8. Our next visit will be our last, since we’ll be taking my mom back home to live with us one more time. With how busy the hotel has been when we visit, they could use more people at the front desk and in housekeeping.
