We expected this place to be an improvement after a bad hotel stay the night before, especially because of the location. We arrived around 4 p.m. and planned to stay at least a day, but after returning from the city we found roaches on the walls. The front desk apologized when we showed them photos and returned our deposit. It was affordable, but that experience wasn't worth it. The bathroom door also had no lock. We checked out around 10 that night.

I spent a few weeks here in summer 2025 with my service dog, and left earlier than planned. The room I got at check-in had several bed bugs within the first hour. After I complained and respectfully insisted at 5 a.m., the front desk moved me to a second-floor room with no elevator, which I managed, but it smelled strongly of urine. Maintenance later helped find me a first-floor room. Days after that, I found roaches there too, so I sent photos to corporate and asked for a refund. They refused and told me to dispute the charge with my bank. I got only part of my money back, less the cash payments I had made. I also reported the place to the health department. My vet's report said my service dog's hair loss was due to “unsanitary conditions.” Treating the infection cost me $1,300 in vet bills. Corporate offered “points for another stay.” The photos below show the roaches and my dog's hair loss. If you need somewhere clean and safe, this isn't it.

The location worked really well for me, with the highway and plenty of stores nearby. I stayed a month and liked it enough that I'd come back. Renee was incredible, very professional and courteous, and Fernando was quick and thorough whenever something needed attention in the room. The property could use a major upgrade, and my room was just okay, but it served its purpose.

I've booked hotels legally for years and have stayed at Red Roofs much worse than this one. I've been here twice, once last year and again this past weekend, and had no problems. The room, sheets, and bathroom were clean, and I didn't see roaches. I paid just $40 on Super, which was hard to pass up. It's an economy motel, so don't expect a Hampton Inn or Hilton. For a tight budget, though, the price is fantastic. If you're after something upscale, look elsewhere.

We left in the middle of the night because the place felt scary. It was filthy, old, broken, and stained, and we didn't even want to look at the bathroom or outside of the building. The photos only show the inside door. It felt like a rat nest, and like “daily rooms” for people in need or experiencing homelessness, with weekly and monthly prices listed. The price wasn't cheap, so it felt like a scam. The location is good, but the hotel should be demolished and rebuilt.
