Aloft by Marriott Dallas Arlington South

I stayed for a month while my apartment was being prepared. The hotel looks nice, the staff were very kind, and Kim was amazing. Housekeeping took good care of me, and I was greeted with a smile every time I came or went. The bar is great too. The reason I didn't give it five stars is that my floor was noisy all night, every night. Still, I love this hotel and overall you won't be disappointed.

I've stayed here several times and would come back. It's close to AT&T Stadium, with gas stations, food, and coffee nearby. The stay was quiet, the beds were really comfortable, and the service was friendly. Self-parking was easy, and getting to the pool was smooth and convenient.

I ended up canceling after the front desk told me they couldn't have food ready when I arrived. I was already going to be about 30 minutes late, and I'd asked if they could make wings and fries ahead of time. They said I could order through the app, but I was driving and couldn't use it. I even told them not to worry, then thought it over and decided not to stay. They helped me find another hotel, and its front desk was much more capable. I'd stayed here for more than a month before. Was fixing a simple meal really too much? How you treat customers matters.

I was visiting a friend who was here for work on Wednesday 3/25. We ran into a younger woman at the hotel, about 5'7, with auburn, stringy hair and a heavy brow. She spoke in slang. She was rude to guests, very unpleasant and unprofessional, and smelled strongly of marijuana. I hope she's not what Marriott wants representing the hotel, but maybe she is. Do better, Aloft.
