Everything else was great, but the unexpected charges really bothered me. They billed my card twice for incidentals and added parking, which I hadn't been told about. What hotel charges guests for parking, unless there's valet? Be upfront about fees when people book and when they arrive.

Front desk staff were nice, so there's that. But there were sugar ants in the room, and some by the pool too. I know that doesn't necessarily mean it was a cleanliness issue. One hallway reeked of marijuana, and I had a small child with me. We paid waaaaay too much and will NOT stay here again.

I booked this location in Dec 2025 for a Jan 2026 stay, and my bank account was charged, but I never got a confirmation. When I checked the week of travel, the hotel staff said there was no reservation in their records. I had to book again for almost $300 more than I had initially paid. When I raised the issue, I was transferred to the corporate line, passed around several times, and even hung up on. Eventually I spoke with someone who said they'd help and assured me the original amount charged in Dec would be refunded. Then, when I landed in Dallas, I got a confirmation text from what I thought was my hotel and ended up at the wrong location. I had to pay for another uber and drive across town to the right one. I've been treated like I was lying about the whole thing, with no consideration for the problems or how awful this trip was. It was a business trip, and I'll tell everyone to NEVER use any Courtyard Marriott’s across the country.

We chose this hotel for the "walking distance" to the football stadium, though it actually takes 18 minutes to walk there. The hotel ride to the stadium is an option too, if you want to pay $20 per person. We woke up to tiny ants all over our things and electronics on the TV dresser and desk. I had to empty and clean all our bags, water cups, and electronics. There's no continental breakfast, the beds and pillows were so uncomfortable that we all woke with sore backs, and parking costs extra. I had also been told when I booked that I could check out late, then was told on check-in day that it wasn't possible. I was counting on the late checkout, so I had to rearrange my whole day.
