WhyHotel Arlington Pentagon Columbia Pike

For the price of a hotel room, my husband and I got a whole apartment for the night when we stayed at WhyHotel Arlington-Pentagon- Columbia Pike in December 2020. It felt roomy and comfortable, with good lighting and plenty of places to sit. I liked having space to spread out instead of being cramped in one hotel room. The kitchen was fully equipped with pots, pans, plates, and silverware, and there was a full grocery store right next door, perfect for snacks and breakfast. The staff were friendly and very helpful. If you like Air BnB's but want hotel customer service and a guaranteed booking, Why Hotel is it.

The room was clean and the bed was very comfy, and the staff were hospitable, friendly, and quick to respond. Located off Columbia Pike, the hotel sits right above a Harris Teeter, with other stores nearby. The rooms were all brand new and well equipped, with kitchenware and utensils, and the bathrooms had the essentials for a comfortable stay. Guests can also use amenities like the Sky Lobby and gym. I had a great stay!

There's a grocery store right below the hotel, and lots of restaurants nearby, so the location is very convenient. Check-in was easy, and the staff were super friendly. I especially liked getting a whole apartment's extra space and perks, including a fully stocked kitchen, full-sized fridge, dishwasher, and comfortable living room furniture, while still having hotel amenities. I highly recommend it.

Staying here was a great experience, and the setup felt interesting and a little unconventional. The staff made a point of remembering guests and greeting them by name. There were free coffee, tea, and snacks in the lobby around the clock, plus juice, yogurt, and breakfast bars in the morning. The Wi-Fi was strong and each unit had its own. The hotel takes up a floor of a new apartment building, so the units are much larger than standard hotel rooms, more like extended-stay apartments with full kitchens. As of this writing, everything was essentially brand new. Guests can also use the beautiful fitness center, with new state-of-the-art equipment and a couple of Peloton bikes.
