You can really feel the New Mexican Enchantment here. There's a great range of places to eat, and if you're lucky, you'll meet the owner, Auntie Mouna. She's very knowledgeable about herbs and acupuncture.

The Snow Mansion has become our home away from home after several years of stays in Arroyo Seco for skiing. It's our favorite ski lodge, and we bring friends here. The owners are extremely kind and helpful, and the historic rooms, artwork, and cozy cabin furnishings make it feel like a home. We love seeing the chickens foraging right outside, and the property is very welcoming to dogs and other pets. Rooms are always clean and well furnished. Many are spacious enough for families or larger groups of friends, and the price is great. The kitchens and other facilities are exceptional. We'll keep coming back year after year. Thanks for having us.

The room wasn't fancy, but it suited our needs, and the setting is beautiful. We couldn't visit many shops because their hours were limited, though we did have a wonderful breakfast at Sol Cafe. My only real issue was the kitchen setup. The suite was advertised with a kitchen, but there were no pans, just one knife, and only one plate and bowl. It wasn't a deal breaker, but if we come back, we'll know to bring our own.

This is a cool, authentic-feeling place, within walking distance of shops, a market, ice cream, and restaurants. It's also conveniently between Taos and the ski village. Our group found the rooms comfortable, and the hosts communicated well and quickly. We'd definitely stay at SnowMansion again, and would like to come in winter after our summer visit. The common area has lots of seating and a pool table. I liked that the toilet and sink were separate from the shower. The shower itself was nice, with hot water and good pressure, though the head sprayed everywhere and couldn't be adjusted. The keypad doors could use an inside deadbolt or latch.

After a long four-week road trip, my family stayed here on our last stop before heading home to Texas. Booking online was easy, and the owner called to welcome me and thank me for booking. Check-in instructions were complete, and getting into the room was simple. The lobby interior is awesome and authentic. The rooms are all unique, and the place feels unlike anywhere else I've stayed.
