There was no hot water, and when I told the front desk around 6:30, I got a contemptuous response and no offer of help. The woman smiled wryly and said it was “because everyone used the hot water.” I asked how to reach the home office and got the same attitude. Don’t stay here if you want a shower or to be treated decently.

The front desk did help by taking away the fridge, but the room and facilities had problem after problem. The fridge leaked onto the floor when I turned the temperature down, and the shower left water all over the floor too. Hot water was barely tepid. The workout room had three dumbbells, broken machines, and something that beeped loudly the whole time. There was no way to block the sunrise coming through the window, and nothing in the room felt comfortable. The internet was capped at 10 mb up and down, like 1997 speeds, so it was basically unusable. The back door had a keycard reader but stayed open unless someone pulled it shut. The manager emailed that they’d use my feedback to make improvements. I replied to ask what specifically, but the email bounced. They just don’t seem serious. These are mostly hotel problems, not really service issues. I can’t believe the place has a four-star rating right now.

The breakfast was barely worth having, and the apple juice had so much water added that it was basically water. The hotel has been renovated, and my room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. Staff were nice.

The staff were sweet, upbeat, and eager to help with requests. The lobby and rooms were immaculate. Breakfast was handled very safely, with gloves and temperatures meeting food process requirements. There was more than enough food to leave feeling full before work or a meeting. Coffee was available all day, and the creamer racks were always full.
