Embassy Suites by Hilton Dulles North Loudoun

The breakfast is great, and the staff are friendly. The hot tub is small and old, but kind of nice. My room, though, wasn't in impressive condition. The shower only got lukewarm, and the heater was loud and noisy. I told the front desk, who said it would be fixed, but two days later it still hadn't been. Very frustrating.

Room condition is hit or miss, and though the rooms look a little more modern than others, you have to put up with the rest. Trash, floors, and tables aren't cleaned throughout the day. Towels or washcloths sometimes aren't replaced, and the comforters are dingy and stained. I asked three times before one was replaced, and even after two replacements I was close to cleaning my own comforter. I left something on the floor in room 2 to see if they'd clean it, but after four days I had to ask for the floors to be cleaned. Service hasn't been good either. I had to check the front desk for talking down to me when I asked about my bill.

The rooms or suites are roomy, with multiple televisions in each suite, plus a safe, refrigerator, and microwave. There's a nice gym area and pool, and I enjoyed all the open tables in the middle area. Breakfast is free, with a chef who makes eggs to order just how you like them. It's a very nice, clean hotel that's well taken care of.

We spent two nights here and I never wanted to leave. The lobby and atrium are beautiful, the place is crisp and clean, and the desk staff are friendly. Rooms feel modern, comfortable, and clean. The bar menu includes food, and there are restaurants in a connected parking lot. It's also easy to get to the corporate buildings. I'll absolutely stay here again when I'm back in the area.
