Economy inn

After a long day of driving my day cab, with no sleeper, I needed a place to stop. The gas station beside the motel sold diesel but wouldn’t let drivers park there, so I left my truck at a proper truck stop, picked up a few things, then walked a mile and a half to get here. It was worth the walk. The man who checked me in was friendly and helpful, and my room was clean, had what I needed, and was nice for the price. If you need a motel in Ashdown, I’d absolutely recommend this place.

For the price, I had a great stay. If you’re looking for a clean, comfortable room where you can get a good night’s sleep in this area, this place does the job.

There’s a huge stack of garbage outside our room, easily more than 100 bags, and I don’t see how this place can call itself renovated. We’ve been here three days and nobody has cleaned the room or brought fresh towels. People are allowed to blast music day and night. When I called to ask if they could get it turned off, the response was that it wasn’t their problem. Terrible!!!!!

My husband booked us a room, and right away the staff were complete a**** to us. We stayed two nights. The quoted price was $48, but they charged us $60 the first night and $69 the second. I don’t know why it changed. The rooms were filthy, and there were roaches. It wasn’t overrun, but there’s clearly a cleanliness problem. We should have spent our money at the relax inn.
