Abbington Green Bed & Breakfast Inn

Dean and Cherie made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. The room felt cozy and special, with thoughtful details throughout, and breakfast was delicious and nicely prepared. We loved our time at Abbington Green Bed and Breakfast and are already looking forward to coming back. Such a gem.

The Montford neighborhood was a great base, close to walking trails. We loved the spacious, beautiful room and the 5 o’clock happy hour, where we could mingle over drinks and cheese. Breakfast each morning was incredible, and Sherie and Dean were friendly, fantastic hosts. It was our first B&B stay, and it definitely won’t be our last. Such a cool experience.

The cheese and wine social hour was my favorite part of the whole trip. We had good wine and cheese, and lovely company out on the porch. Cherie and Dean were phenomenal, so kind and helpful, with great suggestions for places to see. The food was fantastic, especially the baked goods. The house and garden were insanely beautiful. I’d highly recommend staying here.

We walked about 1.5 miles downtown so we could enjoy the outdoors and skip the parking hassle. There’s also a 5-6 happy hour on the porch, with a fabulous view of the surrounding mountains. The house is conveniently close to downtown, and though our room was well equipped, Asheville kept us busy enough that we didn’t spend much time in it. The hosts are incredibly gracious, and the attention to detail around the property is impeccable. We’ve stayed at many B&Bs, and this was one of the best. The elegant place settings and breakfast were both lovely. Cherie made delicious snacks, including coconut chocolate chip cookies and cheesecake brownies.
