Lantern Lodge

This isn't a standard hotel, it's spacious suites set up like small condos, with a restaurant on site. I just checked in for my first visit and was impressed by how friendly and helpful the staff were. My huge suite has wood floors, a kitchen, laundry, a fireplace, and more. It's very handy for Biltmore and the village. The outlets, downtown, and NC Arboretum are a short drive away. I'll definitely stay again.

We were really happy with our two nights here. The huge room had a jacuzzi tub, was clean, and came with a great smart TV and fast Wi-Fi. The liquid hand soap dispenser was empty when we arrived, but that was the one small snag. We used the cardio machines in the exercise room, an elliptical and a treadmill, and appreciated the $5 Azalea discount. The place is close to both Biltmore and downtown, with cafes and everything just a 3-10 minute drive away. After driving across the country recently, we struggled to find decent hotels under $150 a night. In Charleston, places were $300 or more. Paying less than $125 for this much space near everything in Asheville felt perfect. We recommend it highly.

The beds were awful, like sleeping on concrete. If we came back, we'd probably bring our own memory foam to put on top. And don't expect a greeting, a question about your stay, or even a smile at the front desk. Still, the price and location worked well for us. Everything we wanted to do was 7-20 minutes away, and the hotel was convenient and clean. Our executive studio, or suite, as I think it was called, was spacious and a nice place to return to after a long day. For those reasons we'd come back.

We were in a quiet area with easy access, and the rooms were clean, comfortable, and fully furnished. It's very close to both Biltmore and downtown, which made for a great location. Morgan and Rowan at the desk were happy to answer all our questions, thanks to them!
