Mission Springs Lake House

Having a kitchen made planning meals easy, and the private beach was a big plus. The staff were kind and responsive. The resort has adorable cabins and is close to both Bayfield and Ashland.

We stayed for two nights near the end of March, and the cabin was cozy with everything we needed. They’d even left some amazing ice cream in the freezer. If you’re looking for a spot right by the lake, definitely check this place out.

I booked at the last minute for job training in Ashland and absolutely loved the little cottage. We had much more space than we expected for the price, and it was great being able to bring our dog along to play in the snow. I’d definitely stay again.

Katie and her family clearly treat Mission Springs Resort as if it were their own. The Lake House was spotless, with comfy beds and a big flat screen where we could sit together and stream comedy shows after full days hiking and sightseeing. They’d thought of everything, from a dozen or so kitchen spices to laundry detergent. I usually worry about bringing supplies, right down to a lidded bowl for leftovers, but this place was so well equipped. We have allergies in some cabins and rentals, but had no trouble here. On arrival, we were greeted with a delicious basket of locally made candies. Our trip was peaceful and fun, and the stay exceeded what we expected. Katie’s communication was excellent from when we were considering booking through the whole stay. We’ll be back!
