Hotel Jerome, Auberge Collection

I’m revising my review after my husband spoke with the hotel manager about our complaints. He was understanding and accommodating, and arranged a very fair refund for part of the cost. I appreciate that. The stay still fell short of what I expected. I booked for the old, authentic 1800s property, but we were put in the new wing, which had no charm. At $2,500 to $3,000 a night, it felt like a glorified motel. The towels were thin and rough, and there wasn’t the fruit bowl you’d usually find in a 5-star Auberge hotel. The bars were packed and wouldn’t take reservations, even for hotel guests. Breakfast was mediocre, and service there was horrid apart from Antonio, who was fantastic. The advertised swimming pool is tiny, so you can’t swim laps, and the pool and jacuzzi area looked like a cheap motel. I asked for still water only, but they brought sparkling twice. I was very disappointed. The prices are crazy for what you get.

We stopped in for a drink and an appetizer, and the place had a warm, rich feel. The bartender was fantastic, and all three of us agreed the wings were the best we’d ever had. Loved it here. Blessings from NH!

Hotel Jerome has that classic Aspen feel, cozy but cool. The service made us feel like VIPs from the moment we walked in, and the decor is stunning, with vintage western style mixed with high-end luxury. Can’t wait to return!

I loved everything about staying here and will absolutely come back. The service was unbelievable, especially from restaurant manager Adrian. He handles service with real care and professionalism, and is truly one of a kind. Jerome Hotel is lucky to have him. I definitely recommend a stay. 💛
