Limelight Hotel Aspen

We borrowed the complimentary bikes and rode along the Rio Grande Trail, and the hotel is also close to hiking, shopping, and restaurants. The underground garage was convenient. Our Luxury King room was spacious, quiet, spotless, and comfortable, with plenty of luggage storage and high-end touches like big fluffy towels. Breakfast was excellent, with lots of healthy choices and treats. We also enjoyed the wild mushroom & pesto pizza and cookie skillet at dinner on our first night. The staff were excellent, too.

Whenever work takes me somewhere, I look for a Limelight Hotel, and the Aspen one is exceptional. It’s right in the center of town, with comfortable rooms, great service, and delicious healthy food. Breakfast has everything I want for health and wellness, with a five-star, bespoke feel. Thomas Fluke, the breakfast Supervisor, is friendly and clearly passionate about his work. He feels like family to me now, and I’ll keep coming back to see him. He goes above and beyond. Why stay anywhere else? 🤣

The recreation yard and fire pits were a nice quiet spot to spend time after hours. The hotel itself was less enjoyable. We were there for work but got a room right next to the construction, so that noise was all we heard during the day. Staff barely spoke to us, and we didn’t feel welcome. For how expensive it is, especially when a company is paying good money for the stay, I expected better accommodations. But, well, it’s Aspen. It’s a beautiful place, just not the most fun hotel, I guess.

For my first visit to Aspen, this was a really enjoyable stay. The airport transport was a big plus, and I loved that the hotel welcomes pets. There are always the cutest, sweetest dogs around. My room was spacious, clean, comfortable, and well equipped. The staff were friendly and helpful, and whenever I asked about food or coffee, they pointed me toward fantastic places.
