White Elephant Aspen

We were among White Elephant’s first guests and had a lovely stay. Our suite was clean and nicely presented, and the onsite restaurant was lovely too. The service was friendly and helpful. We’ll definitely be back.

The hotel felt warm and inviting, and getting around town from its location was easy. The staff were attentive and remembered our names, while the rooms were nicely sized and beautifully designed. It already feels like a place we’ll want to return to. We brought my parents and their dog, along with our own dog, and all four of us had a special stay. White Elephant is genuinely thoughtful about pets: they brought dog amenities to the room, had a dog menu at the restaurant, let us have breakfast on the patio with our dog, and welcomed pets in the pool area too. We stayed shortly after White Elephant Aspen opened, and they had already created the kind of seamless, warm experience that can take hotels years to get right. We visit Aspen often and can’t wait to come back.

The pool terrace was a lovely place to unwind, with two hot tubs, robes, towel warmers, infused water, and sunscreen ready for guests. It was hard to leave. The king suite impressed me too, with a Dyson hair dryer, Byredo amenities, and towels so soft I noticed them. You can tell the team paid attention to the details. The lobby drew me in right away. Deep charcoal walls, plush furniture, and a 125-piece art collection make the hotel feel like a gallery you can sleep in. The artwork looks deliberate wherever you turn. White Elephant has a reputation for timeless charm, and this Aspen property lived up to it for me. This was my first trip to Aspen, and it definitely won’t be my last. I already know where I’ll stay when I return.
