I was surprised by how much I liked this place, especially since I'm used to staying in higher-end hotels. The staff were friendly, the rooms were clean and seemed recently updated, and the cleaning spray was a little strong, but no big deal. I came to Guthrie, Texas for a hunting trip after a friend recommended the motel. I wasn't sure what to expect in such a small town, but I'd stay here again next time.

They really try to make your stay pleasant and will accommodate you however they can. The people are some of the friendliest you'll meet, and the rooms are clean and stay that way.

I travel for work and after staying in plenty of hotels over the past five years, this has been my best experience so far. The beds were comfortable, and the newly renovated room had wood floors. There's also a restaurant right on the property, which was really convenient. The people were incredibly nice, and I felt at home.

The bathroom was clean, and the woman who checked me in was nice enough. But the carpet was filthy, and the room was meant to be non-smoking. Once we turned on the heat, there was a really strong smell of smoke. It was under 50 degrees outside and we had no heat. I won't stay here again.

The owners were friendly and accommodating. For the low price and modest expectations, I was pretty happy with the hot shower, comfortable bed, and decent internet. Keep the bugs out and it's pretty good. Don't bother bringing your bathing suit...
