Clementine's Bed & Breakfast

A charming historic home right in central Astoria. The host was kind and accommodating, and the guest house room was huge with a super comfortable bed. Having easy access to the yard for dog potty breaks was handy. This will be our go-to place in Astoria.

Judith, the owner, and her daughter Stephanie communicated quickly and were very responsive. Stephanie even offered to pet-sit our dog while we went to dinner. Clementine’s Moose Lodge was the best B&B stay we've had across the 5 or 6 trips we've made to Astoria in recent years. The location makes it easy to walk to the commercial center and most tourist sites, and parking was easy. The place has charm and is extremely well equipped. It's not fancy or updated, but it was comfortable, clean, and neat. There was plenty of anything useful, including quality toiletries, nice bathroom robes, kitchen items, books, magazines, and good linens. We'd highly recommend Clementine’s for a visit to Astoria and the surrounding area.

The tiny Dahlia Room was enchanting, and the rates were quite reasonable. No TV was a delight. Between the tea service, chocolates, balcony porch, and writer's nook, the little touches made the place feel nourishing for the soul. I even wrote a pen-and-ink letter for the first time in years. It's beautiful, and a much-needed step back in time. We could walk to the museums and all the best quirky spots in Astoria. The mattress was lumpy, though, and during my August '25 visit it meant guaranteed morning back ache for anyone over 30. I trust it has been or will soon be replaced. Still, honestly, five stars all around.

My sister and I spent two nights in Astoria as part of a month-long trip. The host was helpful and suggested a few places to visit that we hadn't heard of. Our rooms were lovely, comfortable, and clean. It's a sweet old building, and we hope to return.
