Quality Inn & Suites Athens University Area

The beds are comfy, the showers are nice, and customer service is friendly. But the WiFi is absolutely terrible, and I could smell weed in my room the whole time because people next door were smoking in their bathroom with the vent. There doesn’t seem to be much strictness around here. I’d never stay at this specific hotel again.

The beds were comfortable and clean, and check-in and check-out were quick. We came for UGA vs Kentucky this weekend and needed one night, so we picked the best rate. Breakfast was good, though there was a little mold above the shower and not enough toilet paper, even with plenty of towels. Somehow I still slept horribly, though I don’t think that was anyone’s fault, lol. If you need somewhere for a night or two, it’s a good spot.

I’d rather lose the money than stay here after the way the woman at the front desk spoke to me on the phone. I tried to cancel seven days before the trip because of a family emergency, but they wouldn’t refund the room and she was quite rude when I asked. They say they uphold their 14-day cancellation policy, so keep that in mind. If you cancel at 13 days or less, I guess you lose $210 of the $220 room charge. That’s thievery. Go somewhere else.

The room was clean and good, but I wasn’t told about the $100 deposit. Great place to stay otherwise.
