Super 8 By Wyndham Athens Tx

We had a cozy, affordable stay, and the beds were comfortable. The place is quiet at night, and everything inside was tidy and well maintained, even if the exterior isn't fancy or new. The staff were so welcoming: when our son needed another blanket late at night, someone brought one right over. Breakfast was delicious, with hot waffles, fruit, oatmeal, cereal, and coffee. You can't beat the price and hospitality. We'll definitely come back.

Update: you'll respond to my review, but won't offer any resolution to us after we had to stay in that room? It was advertised as smoke-free, yet cigarette burns on the chair and bed blankets made it clear it hadn't been kept that way. The room felt poorly cared for and not truly smoke-free.

The price was reasonable, and the staff were kind and helpful. My room was clean, and so was the comfortable bed. I loved my two-night stay at Super 8 Athens, TX, and I'd stay again and recommend it to others. Reanna Ferguson.

My wife and I were in town to be near our kids at a local camp. I travel every week for work and stay in hotels across the country, but I'd never heard of Super 8 before. Holiday Inn was another option in town, though one night there cost more than twice as much. Don't expect a Hilton from the outside, but take a closer look and you'll see how clean the property is. Check-in was smooth and professional. Vic at the front desk was welcoming, helpful, and answered all my questions. I had some concerns about the room, but when we opened the door it felt like walking into a room at the Hilton Jackson resort. It seemed remodeled, was clean and easy to use, and felt inviting. The hotel met our needs, the staff were amazing, and the room was perfect for our visit. I'd never stayed at a Super 8 before, so thanks to Vic for making it a good experience.
