131 Ponce Apartment

Please read this and look at the attachments. At least one staff member, Jasmine, is trying to help us, but she's only an employee, and the manager hasn't taken responsibility for any of this. On March 25th, my birthday, a flood came from the apartment upstairs at midnight. Nobody responded, so my girlfriend and I had to push the water out by hand. This building has no emergency system. The manager kept telling us to handle it through our insurance and did nothing to help. Then, when we tried to dry our soaked mattress on the patio, he told us not to put anything there. We had to live through that for three weeks. When someone finally came to cover the water damage, they didn't cover our belongings, and everything got paint on it. Last week, someone, probably another resident, broke the chain lock on our bikes and stole both of them from the basement. The apartment took no action. There are no security cameras, nothing. And we see at least three roaches crawling around every night. If you want your things stolen, to get drenched, and to live with cockroaches, come live here!

Nick was really helpful and kind, and he fit me in for a tour at the last minute. He gave a great tour, and the place is super nice.

I just moved in, so I can't say much yet about living here. Nick helped make the move-in go smoothly. If you need admin support, I'd recommend talking with him.

When the elevators were down recently, the management team kept residents informed about the progress. It was inconvenient, but I felt they handled it with care and clear communication. I know problems like that are often outside management's direct control, and they still went out of their way to support us through it. The team is professional, caring, and attentive to residents' needs. They make living here a great experience. I'm very happy here and appreciate their dedication.
