The bathroom was what first ruined the mood when we arrived at the condo. It was dirty, ugly, old, and smelled of rotten wood. The rest of the place looked dusty everywhere, so we tried cleaning a bit and relaxing before heading to the beach. When we got back to rinse off, the bathtub water wouldn’t drain. I had to pull out all the hair stuck in it. It was disgusting. By bedtime, the floors were creaking loudly, and the beds felt like old masks. Nobody could move without waking everyone else. The comforters shed so much lint it seemed like a pillow had burst. Even the doors creaked every time they opened or shut, like something from a horror movie. This was the worst vacation I’ve had. I paid $523 per night and expected better. I don’t mind spending money on a family vacation, but I want to get what I’m paying for, and this time I didn’t.

The ocean view is great, and it’s a quiet, cozy place. The one downside is that there are no elevators.

The place itself was nice and clean, but I had several unpleasant encounters with one security guard. I don’t know her name. She repeatedly gave me and my guests trouble at the pool because our room didn’t have enough wristbands. Her manner was confrontational and aggressive, and we felt unwelcome even though we had every right to be there.

We’ve been here for three days with a family of 11, two condos, and three cars. We’ve spoken with security several times, waved, been friendly, and made sure they knew we were here. We had three tags in the car at all times, but the windows were cracked and the wind must have blown them away. We came out to find our car had been towed, and now it’s costing us almost $300 to get it back. We’re livid, and we won’t stay here again. Management won’t answer the phone. Why are they taking down plate numbers, makes and models, and checking IDs now, but still relying on paper tags that can blow away or get misplaced? They need a better system. Someone from management needs to call or email me.
