We first came here eight years ago on New Year’s Eve for my son’s 13th birthday, and returned to celebrate his 21st. Those were two major milestones for our family, and we wanted to spend them at our favorite resort. Even with the doors closing for good this Sunday, January 4th, the customer service, friendly staff, and whole experience were amazing again. Thanks for the memorable memories.

From the balcony, the views are fabulous. The place has a full kitchen, activities, a movie theater, and an indoor pool. It’s close to the Boardwalk, restaurants, and casinos, and the beach is a block and a half away. The shower has good pressure and plenty of hot water, but the bathroom needs an exhaust fan to clear the condensation.

We stayed here from 11.18.25 to 11.20.25. Our visit two years ago was convenient and comfortable, but this one was not. Roaches were crawling on the kitchen counter and our food when we came back after being out for three hours. We’d ordered food earlier on 11.19.25 and left it on the counter because putting it in the fridge would have meant reheating it and ruining the taste. Customers shouldn’t have to deal with pests. There was also a problem with my wife’s package. We’d called ahead and were told she only needed to pay a $3.00 fee to receive a delivery. She lost her ID on 11.18.25, and the package arrived at the hotel on 11.19.25. We told staff about the lost ID, and she had the order and delivery confirmations in her email plus a photo of her ID on her phone. They still refused to hand over the package, after first saying it had never arrived. I had to call the police on the front desk staff. Management refused to release her property over a policy that wasn’t posted at check-in, included in the terms and conditions, or mentioned when we asked. We’ll never stay here again.

The rooms at Club Wyndham Skyline Hotel were spacious, with plenty of drawer space and hangers. Having elevators that go straight to your floor, and needing a room key to enter the building, felt comfortable and secure. My issues were checkout and the fitness center. Elevator waits there were excessive, around 15-30 minutes, and the gym was very basic for a hotel this size. It should have several treadmills and universal machines. I heard the hotel was closing, which is unfortunate because I’d certainly return.
