The room we were moved into was wet right under the A/C. A man came in with a broom to sweep it up. Before that, we were switched out of a roach-infested room, and the woman helping us couldn't understand what we were saying. We originally paid for a double room, but at 10 in the morning someone knocked and said we had to move a bed. They gave us no extra time and told us to move to another room. Don't stay here if you expect good service. During an earlier stay, there was black mold all through the bathroom. This Atmore, Alabama hotel charged $80 a night for a piece of crap. If you're looking to save money, go to the Southland next door instead. Its rooms and service are better quality.

We've already been here for a month, and we love Sal, the owner. He's so sweet, and I wish I could give him 10 stars 🌟. Greenlawn is the best historic motel in Atmore Alabama. Thanks for letting us stay, Sal, from James, Tricia, and Lakota our dog 🐕 😀 🙌. Southland motel gets only one star from me. Kudos to Sal 🤩🤩

We've been staying here for almost four months now. Sal and his beautiful wife are both really nice 🙂. It's way better than sleeping in your car 😉.

The owners were very nice, and the rooms, though a little old-looking, were really clean. Yes, I'd stay here again.

The wifi was out of service, but there was no discount, and the room was filthy with mold covering the bathroom. I was also told to reuse towels for multiple days and to limit myself to one bucket of ice a day. At the front window I asked for toilet paper, got some, then was sent to the janitor closet to fetch a vacuum and told to clean my own room: “Make sure it's clean.” The owners and staff were worse than the room. I've never stayed anywhere this bad, above and beyond the worst place I've been.
