Hampton Inn Atmore

The shower got hot right away, and the hotel was quiet. The room was clean and the AC worked great. Breakfast had scones, waffles, sausage, egg omelettes, grits, and more. They even left grab-and-go breakfast bags by the door for people in a hurry who still wanted a decent meal. There's also a nice casino about a five-minute walk away if that's your thing.

Ashley at the night audit and front desk made me feel welcome right away. She's knowledgeable about Hilton, and it's clear she loves both her job and the people she meets. That stood out to me. The lobby and my room were very clean, and I could tell the whole team at this Hampton Inn cares. That matters a lot in the service industry.

For four months, while I was in town for work and staying at this hotel, an employee has continuously harassed and slandered me. After an incident where some of my things were ruined, she kept speaking badly about me to my coworkers and even contacted my employer to try to get me fired. It feels like she's doing this to make herself look better after ruining my belongings. I'd already told her not to worry about it and paid for them myself. We're adults, not kids in high school. What a shameful way to act.

The staff were friendly and nice, but I paid over $160 for one night and couldn't sleep well. I called the front desk about the stomping upstairs, and they said the people were walking “normally.” If that's the case, the walls, ceilings, and floors must be razor-thin. If you have to stay here, pick a top-floor room for a better chance of getting decent sleep.
