The owner was so welcoming and helpful, and check-in was easy with plenty of parking. The whole place felt peaceful, and I slept well on a cozy bed. My room was spotless, from the linens and towels to the bathroom, and the property felt fresh and well cared for. Attica Inn was a really comfortable stop in Indiana, and I’d gladly recommend it.

If you need somewhere immediately, this may be the only option around there. If you can plan ahead, though, there are Airbnb places in the area.

Al was kind and welcoming, and my non-smoking room was comfortable and well kept. The TV, fridge, microwave, and lights all worked, the water pressure was good, and the mattress was comfortable. It was quiet and felt secure, with lots of parking. I stayed at Attica Inn during the Spartan Race weekend in September 2025, just a few minutes from Badlands. Thanks to Mr. Al for making the visit pleasant. God Bless.

The room smelled moldy, and the bed felt like it was made of springs. The stained bedding looked like it could date back to the 70s. We were also told at check-in there was no TV service, which was frustrating when we were stuck out in the middle of nowhere. Toiletries were skimpy: one tiny shampoo-conditioner, a very small bar of soap, and we had to ask for another bottle. We couldn't even open the shampoo without scissors. My wife was very upset. Pay for a known establishment and spare yourselves.

My husband and I had to stay here unexpectedly last night. It wasn't fancy, but we slept comfortably, it felt safe, and there wasn't a noise problem.
