Attican Motel

The room was cheap but they overcharged me. The guy at the desk said it was $125, then tried to take $188 from my card. The place was dirty, the staff were rude, and the front desk was unfriendly. They have bed bugs too. Be careful, it's not worth it.

The owners were kind and friendly, and the room was quiet enough that I could actually sleep on the mattress. I was traveling with three kids and worried about dirt and creepiness after reading reviews, but I didn't find that here. There was a faint odor in our room, though it was tolerable. We brought a pack n play for the youngest so they wouldn't crawl on the floor, but I wouldn't want them crawling on floors in other public places either. I don't travel much, so I usually read reviews instead of writing them. If you're not expecting the plaza or Four Seasons, I think you'll be fine here. Written by a normal person :)

The staff were really friendly and helpful, and our room was comfortable and clean for the price. They ran a shuttle to Darien Lake for the concert, which was great. I'd recommend staying here and would come back.

The owners were kind and efficient, and the place was very clean. It was quiet there, away from heavy traffic, though a bit of a drive from the highway. Still well worth it, especially since it cost half as much as the run-down Comfort Suites near Norwich, CT, where we'd stayed the night before. There was no coffee in the room, but Burger King and a grocery store were just down the road. We were on the last four nights of our New England trip and had been paying much more. Thank you!
