The room smelled bad, and the shower was gross with a dirty-feeling floor. We had no microwave, the fridge wasn’t cold, and the outlets wouldn’t charge our phones. The TV was stuck on a demo menu we couldn’t get rid of. It was a nightmare.

Grocery shopping and a few places to eat are just minutes away. The room was basic but fine, and the location was quiet. I’ll always have comfy memories of this hotel.

There was a puddle forming in front of the fridge, and my comforter had a few obvious cigarette burns. I also found white powder inside the dresser drawers and didn’t feel safe using them. We had no trash can, and finding several cockroaches in the room was unsettling. Those issues made our stay quite uncomfortable.

The front desk person was polite and helpful, and I saw staff cleaning the hallways daily and leaf blowing the parking lot. The room was small and old, but clean, with clean-looking bedding and a mattress that was comfortable enough. It had a mini fridge and microwave. I’d been apprehensive after reading reviews, but a thorough check turned up no bedbugs or cockroaches. The curtains smelled like decades-old smoke, and there was a strong disinfectant smell in the room, at least suggesting it had been cleaned. If you need to save money and just want somewhere to sleep, I’d say it’s OK.
