Suburban Studios Auburn Hills - Detroit

On Friday (5/22/2026), I stayed at this location and was impressed from arrival through checkout. The lobby was kept up, check-in was quick, and everyone was kind. Sammi, a young lady, helped me find my room and answered all my questions, including where to get a Dunkin’ Donuts and good food. Thanks to the whole staff for making the stay comfortable and enjoyable.

The new ownership has made a clear difference for the better. I was welcomed with warmth and good energy as soon as I walked in. Rooms were clean and well kept, and the rates were very competitive. The staff are the sweetest; for hospitality alone, I'd give it 10 stars. I'll use this location again if I need to.

I find this hotel very affordable and really accommodating, and it's great for longer stays and families with kids. Nobody at the front desk has been rude; every employee I've met is professional and in a good mood. Liz is my favorite, though everyone is helpful and super nice. Definitely a 10/10 for me.

The rooms are kept as clean as possible, and I had little to complain about. Junior, an excellent clerk or receptionist, made us feel welcome and immediately sorted out a mix-up. I really appreciated how he handled it. He also helped guests whose children had accidentally come out of their room, safely escorting the kids back and informing their parents or guardians. In my opinion, he deserves recognition, and a raise would be fair for all his hard work.
