I'm glad I left as soon as I saw the room and got a refund. I'd called ahead to reserve, but well after checkout time I opened the door and found two people hanging out and smoking in a room that was a total mess. The rooms looked filthy, dingy, and grimy, and there were no towels. The woman at the desk was unprofessional and was also running a tow truck business from behind the motel desk. There was a bees' nest by the room entrances, with bees flying around. I wasn't familiar with Auburn and had nearly stayed here with my family while traveling. It was almost funny how many things were wrong. Probably the worst motel I've seen, and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone I like.

My husband and I travel for work and spend most of our time in hotels. We booked two weeks here, but left within 15 minutes. The office was really dirty and poorly kept. While we carried our things in, a group of questionable people watched everything we brought, then went back to their rooms once we were done. The toilet in our first room had been used and was broken. Two girls in the office said the owner knew and put us in that room anyway. They also said it hadn't been cleaned since the last person moved out more than two weeks earlier. They moved us to a second room, just as dirty as the first, and the AC didn't work. I didn't even want to sit down. The beds looked extremely dirty and very, very used. When I asked for our money back, the owner wasn't there and had to be called. I spoke to her on someone's cell phone, and at first she didn't want to refund us. I did get the money back, but it took some arguing. Save your time and money. I would never stay here.

The last time I drove by, the place still looked neglected and in need of major improvements. It's a pretty low-end hotel, and I'm not sure what the chain is like, but if this location is any indication, I'd only stay if there were no other choice.
