Stay Plus Extended Stay Suites

The shower had the best water pressure I've ever experienced, and the room was super clean. The staff were incredibly nice, and we had a really pleasant stay for game day, just a short drive from campus. We'll stay here again.

We stayed for seven days, and the room had one problem after another. The front stove eye didn't work on the first day. Maintenance came and said it was fixed, but it wasn't. He came back the next day, still couldn't fix it, and eventually replaced the whole stove insert. It still didn't work. On day three, while I was making dinner for my family using the one working stove eye, I noticed a cabinet door hanging by one hinge. The front office acted like it was my fault when I asked for help, but a guy came in with a drill and fixed it in under two minutes. There was no maintenance person on weekends. Staff didn't like being asked for things at the desk, or to borrow a dustpan, since the room had no broom or dustpan. There were no cups, plates, or silverware. The toilet kept clogging, but they wouldn't lend me a plunger. The keys constantly stopped working and had to be fixed at the front office. Getting let back in after locking yourself out costs $20. The side doors were broken, so they propped one open with a rock, letting anyone come in, and nobody was there after 10 p.m. The parking lot and lobby smelled like marijuana. WiFi kicked me off every 10-15 minutes. On the seventh day, they wouldn't let me renew and said I had to leave by 11 a.m. the next day because the cabinet was damaged. An hour later, the manager came to my door with police officers and told me I had to be out in an hour that day. I asked for at least two hours because I have three children, including a newborn. I'm shocked at how the hotel treated my family. I just want an apology from corporate, or for someone to call me, but I can't get in touch with them.

I hardly ever leave reviews, but the service was great enough that I had to write one. General manager Regina was exceptionally courteous and went above and beyond during my weekend stay. I come to Auburn once a year, and that kind of treatment makes me want to choose this place again. The other staff were kind when I checked in, too, though I don't remember their names. I'd give the service five stars!

My parents needed somewhere to stay at the last minute during this weekend's storm. Melody and Maurice took excellent care of them. The whole place has been newly renovated and looks very nice. I highly recommend them for their great customer service.
