Econo Lodge Augusta, Downtown

We were close to everything we needed, with a Dunkin and Starbucks practically in the parking lot. The beds were comfy, and both the sink and shower had great pressure. We'll stay here again next time we're in town for Viral Pro Wrestling.

The room was clean, but the toilet kept running on and off, like it needed a new tank stopper. Whenever the heat kicked in, something in the machine went tap tap, then tap, tap tap. I got to listen to both all night. I can't say how breakfast was, since it looked like everything had been put away by the time I checked out, close to 11. I stayed one night recently.

Having the hospital just down the street really helped our family through a stressful time. Our room was comfortable, quiet, and clean, and the staff were kind and accommodating. When you're going to medical appointments, an affordable, dependable place nearby makes a real difference. We appreciated how easy and helpful this stay was, and would recommend it to anyone needing to be near the hospital.

There were nine parking spaces taken up by trailers and generators. Those shouldn't count ahead of hotel guests. The staff wouldn't let me use the last open spot, so I had to park elsewhere and walk back in 33°F weather. I've had good experiences here before, but tonight was frustrating.
