Howard Johnson Inn

Henry and his family made my stay enjoyable. They're really nice people, keep the rooms super clean, and run a quiet, safe place. Henry also knows Augusta and the area very well. The location is great, close to everything, and the value is very good. Bonaventure Golf Discount is right next door, a huge and popular store that's fun to browse for new or used clubs and other golf gear. I highly recommend Roadway Inn Augusta West Fort Eisenhower and will stay again. Thank you, Henry and family.

The rooms seem to have been remodeled recently. They were clean, the pictures looked as expected, and they were serviced well. The room was modest, and they were doing okay with it.

Check-in was quick and uneventful, but the room was awful. It was unbearably hot when we arrived and took all night to cool down. The place is old and outdated, and there were hundreds of ants along the back side of the room, especially near the sink and bathroom. I saw only a handful on the right side. We had to put all our trash in the tub. A waste of money.

I picked this basic hotel because of its good ratings, and it lived up to them. It was very clean, comfortable, and straightforward.
