We were the only guests at the hotel, and the owners were friendly enough. The rooms are older, though, and it took a while for the hot water to come through. We'd called ahead and asked about the pool. They said it'd be open when we arrived, but it wasn't.

The building's a bit older, but it was clean and affordable, and the management was so nice. Some rooms open right onto the pool, which is really great. A lovely little motel, and I'd definitely recommend it if you're in the area.

The price was far too high for a place in this condition, and we'll never stay there again. The carpet had holes, and both chairs were in terrible shape. One had splitting fabric, while the other cushion was flat on the side. Jim had to stuff a pillow into the hole just to sit down. The shower was covered in mold and needs to be treated with bleach using a paintbrush, then washed off after two hours. The little coffee pot in the room had just one packet for the two of us. Most hotels at least offer coffee and donuts to guests.

We'd stay here again. The rooms are large, clean, and comfortable, with double beds, and there are both smoking and nonsmoking options. It's nicer than other places that cost more.

Everything in the clean room worked, the price was decent, and the staff were friendly. I'd stay there again if I needed to.
