Maine Evergreen Hotel, an Ascend Collection Hotel

The onsite bar and grill was great, with tasty food and drinks that hit the spot. Staff were super friendly and made it feel like visiting an old friend. The place is beautiful and clean, with amazing artwork throughout, and the rooms were spotless with comfortable beds and pillows. They also had coffee, a microwave, and a fridge. We'll stay again and highly recommend it.

The bar staff deserve a special mention. They were wonderful, served us so well, and made our evenings more enjoyable with their recommendations. Everyone was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, answered our questions, and made check-in easy. Main EverGreen Hotel was spotless and cozy, with a welcoming feel. We loved our stay and would absolutely return and recommend it for a comfortable visit with great hospitality.

The lobby and public spaces felt warm, cozy, and inviting, and our room was immaculate. Thomas greeted us when we arrived and made sure we felt welcome and had everything we needed. We always stay at another nearby brand in Augusta, but its quality, service, and cleanliness had clearly gone downhill, so we decided to try the Evergreen. Calling was easy too. Hilary booked a room for that evening, and she was friendly and very good at her job. We knew we'd made the right choice and will book at the Evergreen again when traveling to Augusta.

There was some highway noise and music from downstairs, though both quieted down at a reasonable hour. We didn't use the pool, but it is there, along with a nice outdoor seating area. The lobby has beautiful, healthy, happy plants, and the dining rooms are cozy, well furnished, and nicely decorated. Coffee and the free breakfast were yummy. Rooms are updated in a peaceful, beautiful style, and everything's clean and well kept. The whole staff was friendly and helpful. If we're back in this part of the woods, we'll stay again.
