Masters Inn

These guys are cheating. I paid through Booking for a room, but when I arrived to check in, they said my booking had been canceled and the money hadn't been returned. Booking support tried to get in touch with them, but they didn't answer calls or emails. I do not recommend going there. Scammers.

Run-down and sketchy. Signs were missing, the landscaping had garbage and weeds, and the roof was damaged. There was garbage and furniture outside the rooms, and a broken fence screened off a defunct swimming pool. I wouldn't give it even one star, let alone the supposed 2.5-star rating.

We arrived late at night around shift change and checked into room 329 with our newborn. They took cash without even having a card on file for damages. I went to the bathroom and killed five roaches in about five seconds. We went down to ask for a refund so we could find another decent hotel. The staff member refused, but offered to move us to a first-floor room, then said we could have a handicap room for $10 more. The room we were moved to didn't have any roaches that we could see, but it was awful. I'll never stay there again or recommend it to anyone.

Nothing in the room seemed to be provided: no phone, table, chair, remote, or towels. I asked for the missing items on two separate days and never got them. There was construction upstairs until midnight, even though I’d told the staff I had to be up at 6 a.m. I didn’t feel safe there, and the place seemed drug-infested. I had to clean the dirty room with Clorox myself. The price didn’t make up for it. I’m never coming back.
