Everything we needed was within walking distance, and our room was spacious and clean. The staff were extremely friendly and happy to help with requests. The breakfast ladies put out a wonderful meal each morning and were very nice. Miss Dee and Miss Vee, along with Jefferson and Clarrisa at the front desk, are a real credit to the hotel. I’d highly recommend staying here.

Victor at the front desk was super helpful with suggestions for nearby bars and places to eat, including Doc’s Porch. The hotel is clean, affordable, and fantastic for a quick crash. Check-in was easy for me and my fiancé, and the rooms were spacious and clean. It’s a 13 minute drive to the airport and 7 minute drive to the Master’s. 10/10, I’d stay again.

The room was outdated and dirty, and the floor was disgusting. There were purple stains all over the sink, and the ceiling had mold. I also found a dead palmetto roach in the room. The hot tub doesn’t work and is peeling away from the room. No shampoo, conditioner, or lotion, and there are no elevators. They advertise breakfast, but there wasn’t any, even though the building has a kitchen and dining area. At 8 am, we were told the lobby coffee was cold and we could microwave it. There are no coffee pots in the rooms, and the exterior key card readers are broken. This was an absolutely horrible stay. I’m so thankful I didn’t bring my toddler. The cheaper price wasn’t worth it at all. Find somewhere better kept.

The hotel was under renovation, and on the first night I was given a room with no running water. I was moved downstairs to the only other disability room. I work nights at a nearby job, but when I came back, the room hadn’t been cleaned and I hadn’t been given clean towels. On the 12th, I was told I needed to switch rooms because a worker’s wife uses a walker and needed the room. In the third room, I turned on the shower and the water ran inside the walls instead of down the septic, flooding the hotel. I couldn’t find anyone at the desk, so I had to track down the maintenance guy outside doing yard work. When I asked if they could do anything for the inconvenience, the people in charge told me to check out and said the owner wouldn’t be back from India until June 30th.

The staff were excellent and attentive. When the microwave quit, they replaced it right away. The lawn was trimmed, the parking lot was clean, and the lobby and hallways were clean. I was on the first floor. Still, the room felt damp and smelled of mildew. After about an hour there, I bought a $10 battery-operated air freshener and considered getting a small dehumidifier. I killed 4 or 5 roaches, and a couple got away. It’s a cheap, no-frills place that felt safe and is conveniently located near restaurants and the Augusta National (Masters) golf course. If you stay here for the Masters, bring bug spray and expect to use it daily. I’d also bring air freshener and consider a dehumidifier.
