Hillcrest Motel by Oyo Aurora near Lawrenceburg

Those stars say it all. This place really isn't good, and the staff have no idea how to treat guests. They shouldn't be in hospitality.

It was a nice, relaxing stay, and the people were nice. The motel felt a little creepy at first, but I felt very safe. It's really quiet out here.

We've been here for two weeks, and the staff have been nosy, creepy, and rude from the start. They keep asking about my dog, even though I only have one and it can barely move now. The fridge and microwave went out in the first few days, and today the AC quit too. I told the front desk, but the owner came at me like I might have broken them on purpose. They're old appliances, probably 30 years old, and the motel is dated and disgusting. We've gone two days without a fridge or microwave, and it's nearly 80 degrees outside with no AC. We're paying $80 a night for a bed, TV, and shower, which we're glad to have, but come on, get it together. I'm really disappointed by the staff and how little courtesy they've shown. This is the worst motel stay I've had. Fix the place up and learn how to treat guests. I'd never recommend it or stay here again. Go somewhere else, even if it costs a little more, like Holiday Inn or Comfort suites, for a cleaner room and better service. All they've been is RUDE, RUDE, and more RUDE!
