Comfort Inn Denver Southeast Area

Breakfast was a real plus, especially the waffle maker, which my son loved. The hotel is right off Highway 225, and I had a nice stay overall. Joo was very sweet, and Ann handled things thoroughly and professionally. The room was comfortable, though the carpet looked like it needed shampooing. Our TV was older and changing channels was difficult.

Clean rooms and an excellent breakfast, both a 10 out of 10. Good prices too, also a 10. My expectations and overall rating are at zero. I'm a Disabled American Veteran, and they put me out on the street on Veteran's Day even though I wasn't meant to leave until the next morning. I came in at 4 PM after a 13-hour day, hoping to rest. The $100 cash deposit was returned, but because the day staff left no notes for the night staff, I'm now driving another six hours straight to N. Wyoming without stopping. The hotel felt very low quality, and I'm still waiting for my $100 security hold on day nine. The front desk attendant said it would be refunded the next day, so I wasn't worried at first. I waited three or four days to call, since I was on vacation and expected it back within 3-5 business days. Once I got home and saw it was still missing, I called. The owners were dismissive and said it could take 7 to 14 business days, acting like I was the problem even though I'd been calm about it. The whole interaction seemed very racist. Please don't let the cheap price ruin your vacation.

The staff were helpful, but I wouldn't stay again. The room was dirty, with stains on the chair and holes in the carpet. I booked through hotels .com hoping for a decent place at a discount, but the pictures were misleading. We arrived late and only needed one night, yet they wouldn't refund us even though it was before the stated 4 o'clock cutoff. There were people using the restroom near the front entrances, including women, and homeless people and drug users around the back of the building. I guess you get what you pay for.
