Holiday Inn Aurora North - Naperville by IHG

Ximena was patient and explained things clearly during a fantastic check-in. She easily sorted out a mistake I'd made, and I ended up saving money. The room was clean and comfortable, with a huge mirror by the coat closet and a spacious standing shower. Getting there and back was easy.

We're really enjoying our visit with family. Jackie made breakfast especially good, keeping an eye on us and creating a welcoming atmosphere. The food was fresh and flavorful, and she checked that we were happy with the room and our stay. Check-in on the evening of November 7th was quick and easy, and the young woman who helped us was very kind and gave us all the information we needed. We'll definitely return when we're back in the area.

At check-in the day before, we hoped to find the bar open, but it wasn't. The hotel seems to have a great bar and full-kitchen setup that could be put to good use. The food service was exceptional. Raul and the woman working with him, whose name I didn't get, did a fantastic job. The food was great, the restaurant spotless even though I was there late in service, and the conversation felt natural and welcoming.

Breakfast was the best I've had at any hotel, freshly prepared, hot, and delicious. Jackie was incredible and made me feel comfortable and special each morning I ate there during my three-day stay. She went far beyond what she needed to do. I stayed here years ago when the restaurant and bar were open, and it's a shame they're serving breakfast only now. I'd have eaten there for lunch and dinner too. An open dining room and bar at night would have made the stay perfect, and I hope they're open next time. The rooms felt high-end, with granite on the shower and bathroom counter, comfortable beds, pillows, and clean, good-smelling linen. Housekeeping brought fresh towels daily and vacuumed when requested. Jacqueline at reception was so friendly and went out of her way to make us feel welcome. Everyone at the Holiday Inn helped make this a wonderful stay. The rooms were clean and lovely. Highly recommend this location! :)
